You can see where the computer image was patched together from two scannings. I awoke one morning with my face toward the wall, and I realized that this drawing came from the image of the wall socket, with an electrical cord and the shadow of the cord cast by the ceiling light. When I realized how unnatural was the inspiration for the design, and how it had worked its way into my subconscious mind after many mornings of seeing it while in a drowsy state, I feel ashamed. Comment: This is not a drawing, but a photocopy of one that is in a private collection. Some of my best drawings are in this collection, and the guy tried to find them but learned that they are in distant stowage, and he couldn't get his hands on them. No doubt they will turn up later. This one was done as part of a game where you fold the paper and everybody draws on a section of it, without knowing what the other people drew. So, not only is this not a drawing, it is also not one that I put much care into, just whipped it out to get my turn over with. But if you want a signed photocopy, you can buy one.
