Is Reincarnation Biblical? Biblical ReincarnationJesus said that John the Baptist was certainly the reincarnation of Elijah: Matthew 11:13-14 - For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. And if ye will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come. Matthew 17:12-13 - But I say unto you, That Elias is come already.... then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist. Mark 9:13 - But I say unto you, That Elias is indeed come, and they have done unto him whatsoever they listed, as it is written of him. John 1:21 - John said "I am not". Maybe "the trauma of birth" caused him to forget his past lifetime as Elijah? Matthew 26:52 Jesus said that "he who lives by the sword shall die by the sword". Does every man-at-arms die of a weapon stroke in the same lifetime? Clearly the answer is "uh uh". Thus it stands to reason that to fulfill Jesus's words, the "death by the sword" will have to come in another lifetime. I have heard rumors that in the Vatican archives are biblical sources having to do with reincarnation, e.t.'s, ufo's, and astrology. Somewhere early on, somebody wanted to keep from the people the fact that the ancient Hebrews, the Children of Jacob, were into those things. But why shouldn't we trust our own memory? If you have a memory of being over at your mother's house last night, are you going to go looking in the Bible to see if it says there is a such thing as last night? So if I have a memory of my past lives, why shouldn't I trust that memory just as much as I trust my memory of yesterday or of last week? Just because Jerry, Joe, John, or Jean forgot theirs, does it mean that I have to forget mine also? Nonononono!
