Here is the story
of "Hymns and Histories of Jesus Christ".
This story stems from the story of the album HAPPINESS TEACHER
(no longer available). After a film-maker made the CD HAPPINESS
TEACHER,
and several people bought and enjoyed it, they asked me to
supply them with more lo-fi acoustic cd's. So in March, 2002,
I checked my old audio tapes and found that the Christian
material had not been applied to cd yet.
Many of these songs had been recorded as early as 1992-3 in
Ralph Webb's Trailer Park near to Burlington, WV. Then I
recorded a few more, THERE IS A BALM IN GILEAD,
GREEN GROW THE RUSHES 0, and O ROWAN TREE. During the same two
day session in which the album WAY
OUT THERE was made,
HYMNS AND HISTORIES OF JESUS CHRIST was also made, along with
the insert which I had previously designed. Marc executed the
design on his photo shop software,
and shared in the decision about color.

Hey
I bought a guitar in 1986 from Bran Dillard at Picker's Supply
in Fredericksburg. He said that Jimmy Arnold had consigned that
guitar to be sold there.
Hi Erik,
Thanks for putting a link on your site to the page about Jimmy
on ours. Jimmy was one of a kind . What is so ironic is the fact
that Jimmy was going through some hard times when he put that
guitar up for sale and had not yet found his peace with the Lord
and now that same guitar is being used to praise the one and
only true God that Jimmy came to know and love. May God bless
you in your endeavors and I thank you for taking the time to
email me regarding this. Respects,
Dale |
